Greetings,
Our community has expressed strong support for the work we do through the bond election results. An approval rate of 56.95% is wonderful! Thank you to the community for this strong level of support for a new roof, repair and updating facilities, addressing storm water runoff, improving ADA accessibility, building a covered area for the elementary playground and improving safety and security for our district. Thank you for believing in our district and know there are great things ahead for us all. We will honor this trust by continuing to focus on the future of our district which will attain the highest aspirations of our students and our community.
Erika Pinkerton
Superintendent
Based on recommendations from the School Safety Committee, new policies and procedures are in place at Enterprise Elementary to improve safety for students and staff.
All doors to the K-3 building will be locked at all times unless a staff attendant is present and monitoring the doors. Visitors to this building need to check in at the elementary office and obtain a Visitor Pass. A staff member will then accompany visitors to the K-3 building for admission.
In the 4-6 building, only the west door next to the office will be unlocked. Both the north and south doors will be locked at all times.
More changes may be announced in the future based on additional committee recommendations.
The safety committee members include the superintendent, Chief of City of Enterprise Police, the County Sheriff, an OSP trooper, school board members, parents and teachers.
